What’s in a Low?

Tonight marks another “low blood sugar at the grocery store” moment. As I’ve previously mentioned, being in a store when you have a low blood sugar is pure madness. You never know what will end up in your cart. You may go in for a gallon of milk, but walk out with a parakeet instead.

SCENE OF CRIME: Dollar General

REASON FOR GOING: Nail Polish Remover.

PURCHASES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

  1. Nail Polish remover (the only thing I went there for)
  2. Ludens cough drops (sugar free)
  3. Corn muffin mix
  4. Stove top stuffing
  5. Cherry sours
  6. A couple cat toys
  7. Variety of Halloween cards (one of which has cats on it…pretty sure that was meant for Danielle)
  8. Applesauce cups
  9. Neon colored band-aids
  10.  Marshmallow cream
  11.  Roasted peanuts
  12.  Can of yams

And last… the most disgusting sounding thing ever and something I’m pretty sure will end up in the breakroom at work tomorrow.

13. Lays “Spicy Ketchup” Potato Chips.

I feel sick to my stomach just thinking about it!

***On another note: I want to say thank you to the all the people who supported me in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes and those of you who donated to the cause. Thank you, thank you, thank you! It was a good day and I look forward to doing it again next year!***
